Real Alpha Series: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson – There’s a saying that goes, you’re either living underneath a rock, if not you will definitely know “THE ROCK”. Affectionately known to most boys my age, i am 30 this year as “The People’s Champion”.
Dwayne Johnson is a popular WWE (“previously known as World Wrestling Federation”) wrestler. At the peak of his wrestling career, he decided to leave the ring and went straight for the silver screen.
Dubbed “The Hardest Worker in the Room”, Dwayne Johnson is a rags to riches stories going back to his teenage years. After going through some tough times growing up and also facing many financial issues as he is growing up, he has made it a point to work harder than anyone in Hollywood. He has made it a point to be the best that he can be.
For him the work starts from the weight room training, waking up at 4am to start his weights training every single day to work out and get his body in shape. The discipline starts the from there. The weight part and the gym part has always been the anchor for his life and for his mind training.
Dwayne Johnson started with his movie career with a role in “The Scorpion King”. The first movie did not work out very well but things have changed.
Dwayne Johnson in 2019 produced and acted in an average of 3 – 4 movies a year and he doesn’t seem to want to stop.
He has quite a number of movie lined up for the upcoming 2020 and 2021 years. According to the Wikipedia of Seven Bucks Production, there is an expected 16 more movies coming up in the near future.
He was evicted at the age of 14, no place to live on Hawaii where he was born. “A lot of you guys know I grew up here in Hawaii with my family where we struggled, man, like a lot of you guys out there struggle to pay the rent, hustled, doing everything we could to get by”.
While growing up, Dwayne Johnson would be watching his parents having problems paying for rent and basic living expenses. They had to leave the state eventually. He grew up getting into fights and joining crime rings that landed him into problems with the police.
Today, Dwayne Johnson is one of the highest paid actors in the world with earnings northwards of $89.4 million dollars according to Forbes.

He shared the beginnings of 7 Bucks Productions. The reason for that, he was so broke he only had 7 bucks in his wallet when he was rejected by his football team and was doing so badly after sending money back home to his wife.
That was the point where he felt like he had his back towards the wall, that was the point where he is so sick of not being number 1 and to keep working harder and keep climbing and to keep going upwards.
Having all this motivations of your down time, the bad time and not wanting to return to that position again is one of the best ways to make sure that your only way is upwards. No one wants to keep going back to the same place where they were. So always remind yourself that the thing you should do is to KEEP GOING. And keep that motivation in your mind EVERY DAY!
